‘The Cowboy and his Bride’ Rustic Western Wedding Inspiration

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have all had a lovely week and are looking forward to the weekend ahead of us, and the end of January!!! At last!! I know it’s a total cliche but my goodness this month has dragged on forever, I know it’s the same every year but I will be so happy to the back of January and hopefully the start of lighter evenings and maybe some hint of the end to winter? This weekend I have a double trip to the theatre. Saturday night I am out with Nik for dinner and then ‘To Kill a Mocking Bird’ and Sunday I am taking Dexter to see a January Panto, so an entertaining weekend all round! However I have this gorgeous styled shoot to share with you first, bursting with cowboy vibes and western decor, this shoot is a rustic wedding dream. The shoot took place on 23rd November 2025 at Wylds Farm in Hampshire and was sent into me by Laura at Belle. So much care and attention has gone into this shoot, the detailing is first class and the overall theming is spot on. I know you are going to love it.

A rustic Americana-inspired styled shoot set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, blending warm autumnal tones with relaxed, bohemian bridal styling and subtle Western details. We titled the shoot ‘The Cowboy and his Bride’.

Laura the planner tells us more about the shoot

I first discovered Wylds Farm after seeing a post from a friend which showed their amazing ‘saloon’ sign, and I instantly knew I wanted to plan a Western-inspired shoot there. When I went to view the venue in person it completely exceeded my expectations, and I came away buzzing with ideas and excited to start planning something creative that really suited the space.

Wylds Farm itself was the starting point for the shoot. Its rustic setting and unique features naturally lent themselves to a Western feel, which then evolved into a rustic Americana-inspired autumn wedding concept. From there I built a mood board focusing on warm tones, natural textures, relaxed styling and subtle nods to Americana, while keeping the overall look romantic, modern and wearable for a modern couple.

I wanted this shoot to celebrate Wylds Farm’s character as a completely unique wedding venue, whilst bringing together a talented team of suppliers to create something inspiring for everyone involved. Creating a beautiful bank of imagery that the venue and suppliers can use across their marketing is always a big goal for me, and I truly feel we achieved that. The team at Wylds Farm were amazing to work with and are so pleased with the final images, which makes it even more rewarding for me.
