Jessica and Irvin's Elopement in the Heart of the Rainforest by Adri Mendez Photography

Hello you lovely people and welcome to Tuesday here on the blog. Today I am taking you to the jungle of Cost Rica for this stunning elopement set in the midst of the rainforest. Jessica and Irvin were married on 9th January 2024 at Amor Arenal.
They decided on an intimate celebration, that captured their adventurous nature and their love of the outdoors. They held a peaceful, intimate and touching ceremony, followed by a trek into the rainforest for some jaw dropping photos set in a waterfall. I love the simplicity of this elopement, couple with the stunning colours of the tropical flowers. Big thanks to planner Mil Besos Costa Rica and to Adri Mendez Photography for the gorgeous photos.

Jess and Irvin’s elopement at Amor Arenal was an intimate celebration of love, surrounded by lush rainforest and the majestic Arenal Volcano.

Jess wrote her vows and got ready, wearing a half up half down curly hair look with delicate gold hair piece. Irvin suited up in a forest green set that matched the dark greens of the rainforest surroundings.
Their first look was a sweet and playful encounter, with Irvin wiping away tears, kissing his bride, and smiling for pictures. Jess’s bouquet and Irvin’s boutonniere was a mix of native Costa Rican flowers, including red gingers and birds of paradise.

Some wedding day details included salted dark chocolate and cacao shots. Floral arrangements featured red and pink anthuriums, lobster claws, and torch gingers. They also had an altar with flowers, rocks, and candles dedicated to their love.
The ceremony began in the late morning and they shared the special moment with each other and Jess’s mom and brother. After the ceremony, they embarked on a horseback ride, complete with coconut drinks and the Arenal volcano in the distance.
They followed their horseback adventure with a trip to La Fortuna waterfall for romantic post ceremony photoshoot.
They embraced, climbed the rocks, and played in the mist of the falls, enjoying their adventure-filled first day together as husband and wife.
