Today I am super excited as we are off to Disneyland Paris this evening. We are going with Dexter’s stage school and he is doing three separate performances out there with all his friends. It’s such an amazing experience for them all. And today is the first ay of the school summer holidays, 6 weeks of fun with my boy before he starts secondary school in September! As for the blog today we are off to Costa Rica for the stunning wedding of Janet and John. They were married on 3rd August 2023 at Andaz Papagayo and it really was the most beautiful of days. The location, the flowers, the decor, all look amazing, what a truly gorgeous day. Big thanks to Jessica Schultz Photography and Mil Besos Costa Rica for sending me the wedding.

We are delighted to share with you the enchanting garden by the sea elopement of Janet and John, who shared the most intimate and romantic wedding in Peninsula Papagayo. This lovely couple wanted a simple and elegant wedding that reflected their timeless love and style, and Andaz Papagayo was the perfect venue to bring their vision to fruition.

They opted for a vibrant and lively color scheme, with deep red tones, purple, violets, and pinks. We incorporated flowers such as cascading orchids and roses, which added a touch of sophistication and beauty to their ceremony.

The bride got ready with her mother and sister, wearing a stunning white gown with sheer long sleeves and 3D accents. The groom looked handsome in a tan suit and bright pink boutonniere.

The ceremony took place in a secluded spot next to the ocean, where they exchanged their vows under a circular arch covered with color-block-themed roses. The setting was magical, with floating candles and the sound of waves creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

After the ceremony, they enjoyed a cozy and delicious dinner for two, featuring Costa Rican-style seafood and a lovely wedding cake. They toasted champagne in personalized Mr and Mrs glasses and celebrated their new status as official newlyweds. They spent the night at the Andaz Papagayo, a luxury resort that offers amazing views of the ocean and the forest.
