Victoria and Andrew’s Colorado Mountain Elopement by Vows and Peaks

I love featuring all sorts of weddings here on the blog, big weddings, small weddings, elaborate weddings and simple weddings. Today I have a charming elopement to share with you, set in the heart of the Colorado mountains. Victoria and Andrew were married on 22nd July 2024 at The Wyman Hotel in Silverton, Colorado and the day was captured by adventure photographer Vows and Peaks. Victoria and Andrew started their day with a hike amongst the mountains taking some time together to surround themselves with nature before their celebrations began. They then joined family to get ready for their ceremony which took place next to a beautiful mountain lake. An intimate day filled with their closest friends and family for this nature loving elopement amongst the mountains.

Andrew and Victoria’s wedding day was pure Colorado adventure. They started by off-roading up rocky trails in the San Juan Mountains, sharing a first look at a secluded pass surrounded by wildflowers and rugged peaks. In the quiet beauty of the mountains, they exchanged private vows, then kicked off their hiking boots and shared a first dance—just the two of them, surrounded by open sky.

Later, we headed down to Silverton’s historic Wyman Hotel, where their families joined in for a joyful, bustling morning of getting ready. At a nearby campground, Andrew and Victoria shared vows with loved ones looking on, the moment even more meaningful with family by their side.

The day wrapped up back at the Wyman with a cozy dinner and laughter-filled dances with their parents—a perfect blend of adventure, intimacy, and family warmth.
