I have the most gorgeous and classy wedding to share with you, set in the heart of the English countryside. This stunning Suffolk wedding is elegant, classic and modern and full of English country charm. Fiona and Thomas were married on 7th September 2024 at Bruisyard Country Estate they stayed true to their individual style and kept the day simplistic in it’s style and elegant in it’s vibe, adding a touch of modern boho chic to the day. I love Fiona’s style, so classy and modern. Lisa and Neil were there to capture the day for us.
Fiona and Tom’s wedding at Bruisyard Country Estate was a beautiful celebration of love and nature—two values that are central to their lives. With last names that subtly nod to their shared connection to the natural world, Fiona and Tom chose to embrace the stunning Suffolk countryside by holding their ceremony outdoors. For them, being surrounded by nature was a way to honour their bond and the life they are building together.
The ceremony was made even more special with a moving performance of Hoppípolla by Sigur Rós, played by a string quartet. The music added an emotional and ethereal touch as the couple exchanged their vows amidst elegant white floral arrangements that complemented the lush, green surroundings. It was an atmosphere that felt timeless and serene, blending effortlessly with the beauty of the estate.
Fiona’s bridal style was modern yet understated, with a sleek, minimalist gown that perfectly captured her vision. Her handpicked glam squad created a clean and refined look that felt authentic to her, while Tom’s classic black-tie suit added a touch of traditional elegance. Together, they embodied a timeless style that allowed the natural beauty of the venue to take centre stage.
Reflecting on their day, Fiona and Tom emphasised the importance of staying true to what matters most to you as a couple. For them, this meant choosing elements that felt personal and meaningful, rather than following conventional expectations. Their celebration at Bruisyard Country Estate was a perfect blend of simplicity, elegance, and authenticity—a day rooted in love, family, and their shared appreciation for the natural world.
Wow. This setting makes me want to photograph a wedding in the UK so bad!
