Katy and Alli's Intimate Backyard Wedding in Colorado Springs by Together We Roam Photography

Today’s wedding is all about embracing your surroundings and using them as part of your day. That is exactly what Katy and Alli did when they held their backyard wedding on 23rd September 2023 in Colorado Springs. They love adventure and the outdoors, so they were lucky enough to incorporate the gorgeous Colorado springs scenery into their day, which made for magnificent photography opportunities. The autumnal backdrop is absolutely stunning and the rich earthy tones added a beautiful element to their intimate day. Together We Roam Photo did a marvellous job in capturing the day for us.

Katy & Alli met on hinge and they spent their first date at Seoul Taco at a park after Katy got off of a 60 hour paramedic shift. Alli got a giant burrito and ate most of it and that is when Katy knew Alli was a keeper. When they started to plan their wedding day, they wanted to have a fun, laid back but intimate day with the people they love most but they also wanted to spend a lot of their day together. So they started off their day making their favourite meal: breakfast. After breakfast they had a long getting ready time frame where they got to hang out with family and get dressed for their outdoor, backyard ceremony. The ceremony spot was nestled in a beautiful forested area right outside their home rental. They shared a fun, heartfelt ceremony with loved ones before they went on to explore some of Colorado Springs epic photo spots! Adventuring together was something really important to Katy & Alli so their day included exploring waterfalls, rivers, mountain views and pretty cool bridges. They capped off the night with a sunset backyard reception and danced all night!
