Pedro and Orlando’s Modern Villa Wedding in Puerto Rico by Rock and Love Weddings

With England through to the finals of the Euros, it is all celebration in our house, indeed the whole of the UK! Excitement is high, so why not bring you more excitement with this stunner of a wedding. Pedro and Orlando were married on 27th January 2024 at Villa Caparra in Puerto Rico. They held the most gorgeous wedding, in a pure white villa with pops of pink from the king protea, natural accents from the furniture and hints of green from the plants. The whole room athletic is so clean and modem, I absolutely love it! My favourite shot has to be the colour bomb, it works so well with the men’s jackets and the white of the villa. Orlando and Pedro’s LGBTQ wedding at Villa Caparra, Puerto Rico, was a celebration filled with love, joy, and personal touches. The talented Emilio Olabarrieta designed the event, ensuring every detail was perfect. As the ceremony concluded, the couple made a dramatic exit, surrounded by bursts of colour bombs, painting the sky in a magnificent rainbow. Adding a touch of elegance, a Champagne girl dazzled guests in a dress adorned with cups of bubbly. The air was filled with enchanting melodies from an orchestra, setting the mood for celebration. The lively beats of Bomba y Plena, traditional Puerto Rican music, filled the air, inviting everyone to dance. Following the heartfelt ceremony, the couple surprised their guests by singing a cappella, accompanied by a guitar, adding a personal and intimate touch to the event. Adding to the festive atmosphere, a traditional Puerto Rican lechón (roast pig) was cooked live. The lechón became a delicious centrepiece of the celebration, showcasing the rich culinary traditions of Puerto Rico.

Orlando and Pedro’s special day also included a unique moment where they climbed to the roof of the house to share a dance, overlooking the picturesque surroundings. Their custom-made suits adorned with their names and wedding date in Roman numerals, added a personal touch to their attire. The ceremony itself took place on a platform atop the Jacuzzi, creating a stunning backdrop for their union. It was a day filled with unforgettable moments and cherished memories.
