If you love a bit of colour and the odd disco ball here and there , you are going to love today’s styled shoot. The shoot took place on 6th June 2024 at The Venue on Middle Street in Croydon. It was the brain child of Manny from Two Become One Wedding Planner Ltd, who wanted to show how to incorporate Boho into modern and industrial weddings. By using Pantone Colour of the year, peach fizz and atomiser she was able to move away from the traditional and explore other options when it comes to wedding themes and colours. I love the soft tones and use of colour in the flowers, the disco balls and the urban shots.
I was looking for a different slant on the boho style by incorporating some industrial vibes and creating a fusion of the two to showcase how versatile a boho wedding can be. I wanted to network with talented wedding suppliers I hadn’t worked on a shoot with before and increase the recommendations I could offer to my couples.
My niche is boho weddings, this style can be fused with a bit of rustic or vintage and industrial in venues that reflect these styles, so tipis, marquees, open woodlands, beaches, barns, and warehouses. Like my ideal clients, I love all things boho as it says casual, relaxed, and very pretty, so I want to speak to the bridal couple who are looking for something different and stand out from the crowd by injecting some fun and colour into their wedding day. The graffiti wall was the inspiration to showcase a London industrial-type venue where the couple can grunge up the wedding day with their wedding attire and bring in the trend of having a celebrant at their wedding and to showcase this fusion of styles and colours.
I felt I accomplished what I wanted, which was to show couples they can have a different type of wedding that speaks more to them than the usual cookie-cutter type green and white wedding and embraces the different, blue wedding cakes and disco ball décor too!
