After a week away in the Majorcan sunshine I am now back in the office and back with some more beautiful weddings, starting off with the gorgeous wedding of Gabriella and Christopher, who were married on 24th April 2023 in Summerhaven, Arizona. Gabriella is a wedding planner, so she new early on in her planning what she wanted her day to look like. She opted for an intimate elopement style celebration, with family style dinning and captured the pure essence of a spring time day with the beautiful pastel flowers as well as the unique pink wedding dress. Such a pretty wedding, which is giving off whimsy, boho forest vibes all captured perfectly by The Gawnes.
Gabriella is a wedding planner in real life so when she became a bride she had a strong and specific vision for her day. She knew she wanted to have an elopement style wedding with just family and a few friends in the forest and she knew she wanted magic, whimsy, and boho forest vibes.
Her and Christopher got engaged in the forest on a romantic camping trip while she was pregnant with their daughter, Margot so the forest holds special memories for the couple. Gabriella wanted to incorporate the organic elements of the location into her floral arrangements which were accented with mushrooms by Dusty with Elements Florals. As a bride she knew her aesthetic should be true to what she loved in her everyday life so she wore a custom pink dress with ivy details by Teuta Matoshi and had a vintage make up and hair look designed for her by Lark Bahar with I Do Hair and Make Up.
Their ceremony was in a private wooded area at the top of Mount Lemmon, north of Tucson, AZ in a town called Summerhaven. Florals flanked the ceremony site and then were repurposed for the reception picnic located just down the hill. The reception was set with a family style farm table and had charcuterie and grazing boards laid out for guests. This quiet, personal elopement was a boho dream and gave us all the fairy vibes!
