Happy Saturday to you and welcome to Saturday Cinema, this mornings featured presentation is brought to you by Bridget Redmond from First Kiss Films. It’s the wedding of Lizl & Denis who were married on July 24th in a church in Ottawa and then with the reception at Ontario/National Art Gallery of Canada and it’s shot in beautiful 16mm + super 8.
It is a beautifully put together film and it has Bridget’s trademark style all over it! she has done a great job collection the images from the day and the putting them all together in such a great way. The wedding is gorgeous, Lizl the bride is just stunning, her birdcage veil and her long hair look amazing, as do her bridesmaids dressed in black. My favorite bist are the first look, and the emotion between the couple in the church ceremony………just gorgeous to watch!

I asked Bridget what her favourite part of the wedding was and she said ‘I especially loved the bride’s handmade wedding invitations, the elegant & modern wedding day pallet and how emotional the bride was – it was adorable!’
What do you think make a good wedding video ‘Besides the amazing venues and gorgeous details, what made this film so special is the bride & groom’s genuine smiles, laughter and how relaxed they were throughout the day. Oh, and perfect sunlight.’
