Natalie and Raymond’s DIY Outdoor Wedding in Wisconsin by Ashley Durham

It’s a double post day again here on the blog, it sure is turning into another busy week here at Boho HQ! Today it’s the turn of Natalie and Raymond who were married on 9th September 2022 at Homestead Hollow County Park in Wisconsin. The whole day was kept pretty simple, but effortlessly timeless and elegant in its decoration. With most of the decoration being DIY, the couple really did do a great job at keeping the whole place looking so professional. With a gorgeous outdoor ceremony and cosy barn reception, this wedding goes to show that DIY can still be full of elegance and charm. Thanks to Ashley Durham for the fab photos.

Ashley tells us more about the day

Natalie and Raymond met while serving at church together, and their shared faith has shaped their entire relationship. They decided to get married outdoors at a beautiful state park in eastern Wisconsin over the summer, and to share that moment with just their very closest friends and family. Their outdoor wedding ceremony space faced an open field with rows of evergreens. Everything for their reception was completely DIY, from the table settings to the rest of the decor! They decided to keep everything super simple, since the barn for the reception is naturally beautiful and honestly didn’t need a whole lot to make their wedding come together.
