‘Autumn Equinox’ Burnt Orange Barn Wedding Inspiration in Wales

Today I have a bumper schedule and it’s all about Autumn weddings. This morning I am starting off with this gorgeous styled shoot brought to you courtesy of Terri from Quirk It. Then this afternoon I have a fab ‘Ask the Experts’ post offering you advice on planning an Autumn wedding. Now you may wonder why I am talking Autumn weddings in February? Well planning a wedding is all about planning ahead, so if you are holding an autumn wedding, then you need to be thinking about the finer details around about now! So back to the shoot, it took place on 12th September 2020 at Bryngolau Barn, near New Quay, Ceredigion in West Wales. It really is a celebration of all things autumn, the rich colours and tones of burnt orange and terracotta, which is so on trend at the moment. The gorgeous rustic barn venue, the outdoor seated area with bell tents, oh so pretty! This shoot really is a thnig of beauty, enjoy!

This shoot epitomised the beauty of the change from summer to autumn.  Summery blue skies and beachiness blended with the an autumnal burnt orange colour palette that complimented the unique rusty beauty of a barn wedding.

We decide to put the shoot together because Covid had us missing a good old gathering of suppliers plus we decided to open a wedding venue at our family farm. Our Inspiration was  Autumn Equinox – transformation and change, abundance, balance, reflection and letting go! (covid be gone!)

We needed some photos to begin advertising but mainly wanted to feel like the wedding industry wasn’t a complete wash at the end of a really difficult year!  We had a brilliant day catching up with amazing suppliers, who loved our vision for our venue which resulted in some beautiful photos.
