Allyson and Eric's Simple and Easy 'Natural Bohemian' Riverside Wedding by Capture Now Studios

Well hello Friday! I have to say that came round quickly, it’s been such a busy week on the blog with so many features that the week has just flown by, what about you? Has your week been good? This weekend we have a day of carpets being fitted, picking up wallpaper and kitchen tiles and then a visit to the cinema to watch Sing 2. Sunday we are off to Yorkshire Sculpture Park with some friends and their kids, which will be good. We have about 2-3 weeks left of house renovations and then we will be finished!!! Thank goodness! On with today’s wedding and it’s the turn of Allyson and Eric who were married on 7th August 2021 at Bodhi Farms in Bozeman, Montana. The whole day was super laid back and reflected their love of nature as they kept the whole thing simple and low key. They wanted a Boho theme but with an edge and this they did perfectly. Capture Now Studios was their to record the day for us.

Eric and I met in 2015 in Denver, Colorado. Eric asked me if I wanted to go somewhere and grab nachos sometime. I was hooked after that. Our second date consisted of climbing the West Spanish Peak in southern Colorado. Less than a year in, we moved in together, adopted our dog Lola and were already integrated into each other’s families. Since there was no turning back, we decided to move to Bozeman, Montana in 2019 and in April of 2020 Eric proposed to me while we were fishing the Gallatin River with Lola as our witness. It was so amazing to be able to tell our loved ones some very positive news given the current global crisis going on.

Eric and I really wanted to make our wedding reflect the life we have built together. After touring Bodhi Farms in Bozeman, I imaged our whole wedding day in my head and knew we had found the perfect location to set the stage for a magical day shared with family and close friends the following August.
We hired the most talented and kind vendors. Every single vendor understood our intent and vision for the day without much direction. My father unexpectedly passed away 2 months before our big day and every single vendor was so incredible to our family on the day of and months leading up to the big day. We truly could not have done it without them.
The day/evening ended up being exactly what we envisioned. A tailored, natural, bohemian wedding that really spoke to Eric and I’s love and life together. Simple and easy but with an edge. It was a magical day that we will both cherish for years to come!
