Liv and Hannah’s Animal Friendly Backyard Micro Wedding by Sydney Kane Photography

Welcome to another week on the blog, how are you all doing? How was your weekend? Mine was pretty chilled, I don’t think we actually left the house. The weather wasn’t playing ball here in Sheffield, so we spent the weekend baking, eating, watching films and generally chilling out. I now feel rested and ready for the week ahead! I am starting off the week with a great example that Covid doesn’t have to ruin all of your wedding plans. When Covid hit last year so many couples either postponed or cancelled their weddings. The wedding industry all around the world was hit hard, you may be one of those couples that have been affected. Today I am delighted to share with you the wedding of Liv and Hannah who were married in Charlottesville, Virginia on 5th September 2020. Their original plan was for a big 100+ wedding, but this soon changed due to the restrictions. However, they were still determined to tie the knot, so instead of cancelling they changed their plans and brought their guest count down to just 11. This in turn meant they could get married on Hannah’s family farm, with a backyard family dinner. Their wedding is just beautiful, so laid back, sunny and oozes love, pure perfection. Big thanks to Sydney Kane Photography for the lovely submission.

Sydney tells us more about the wedding

Liv & Hannah were originally planning on having a 100+ people wedding at a cidery in Charlottesville, but decided to postpone the big event to next year and instead have a family-only ceremony on Hannah’s family farm. This is where her older sister got married and where she proposed to Liv, so it felt as if it was meant to be that they said their vows here. They had 11 people, four dogs in flower collars, one horse with a flower bridal, and a beautiful backyard dinner setup.
