Intimate Industrial Modern Micro Wedding Inspiration

As we head into Tuesday I am sharing with you one of my favourite styled shoots for a long time. Due to Covid I feel this is the year of the micro wedding. This means you can go big and flamboyant and use up your wedding budget on THE most amazing decoration, while feeding your guests THE most amazing food, or you can keep it simple and refined. This shoot combines a bit of both. A modern micro wedding, set in an industrial location, with the most amazing ceremony arch! The shoot took place earlier this month in Baltimore, Maryland in the US but I have to say the real stars of the shoot are Will and Dre our very handsome two grooms. The joy that these two bring to the shoot is unbounding. Their smiles are infectious, their sense of style is limitless and they bring a real energy to the photos. I live for love and  seeing so much in one shoot make my heart sing. I hope you love the shoot as much as I do. Big thanks to Megapixels Media for the amazing photos.

Megan from Megapixels Media tells us more about the shoot

This year we are all about intimate celebrations.
2020 hit the wedding industry hard and it put so many engaged couples in an uncomfortable bind. Where many couples were forced to cancel or reschedule their big 2020 dream wedding, some couples took to a more creative approach and decided to have a mini-wedding or a microwedding.
Although Will and Dre have been married for years they wanted a chance to showcase their love and encourage other couples to celebrate their union regardless of how many guests are in attendance. They wanted to illustrate what it looks like to blissfully celebrate intimately. And they rocked it!

Their planner, Courtney-Rose of Dantus and Co Events, chose Accelerator Space, a chic industrial space in Baltimore, Maryland, as their venue for the day. Their florists, Petalos, accentuated and lightened the space with cream and blush florals flowing throughout the ceremony and reception areas. Their Stationary by Citrus Press Co perfectly matched the aesthetic of the day by using soft neutrals with a touch of blush.
Throughout the day, their photographers, Megapixels Media, respected their space by staying at least 6 feet away with their masks on. The creative visual team also encouraged Will and Dre to be themselves by giving them slight prompts to help with posing naturally while they captured them from different vantage points.

The couple started the day at a sweetheart table made for two and then escaped outside to a ceremony where they could share some sweet words and memories of their actual wedding day with each other. They then headed back indoors to enjoy a cozy cocktail hour by the fireplace before they cut their cake and made their toasts to each other. Wearing modern attire with a high fashion twist these two not only looked amazing, you could tell they really felt great too! And the energy they shared throughout the day was magnetic! They wrapped up their day outside of Accelerator Space with a bottle of champagne in hand. They popped the bottle, gave each other a kiss and ran down the street to their getaway car.

We don’t know when we’ll be able to have big celebrations again but we do know that we don’t need a lot of people to celebrate true love. We want to thank Will and Dre for inspiring others to make the fearless decision to have their very own intimate miniwedding to celebrate their union.
