Konstantinos and Anatoli’s ‘Mediterranean Garden’ Outdoor Greek Wedding by WedPashalis

Happy Friday everyone, how are you all? How was your week? Last night I went out and celebrated mine and Nik’s 15 year anniversary. We met 15 years ago and although it isn’t our formal wedding anniversary we do try and go out and celebrate if we can. Obviously the restaurant had to close by 10pm, so we were home super early, but we still managed to have a lovely evening and a delicious meal. So I really have that Friday feeling today. We are off to the cinema tomorrow, the first time since March. Dexter is beyond excited! We used to go once or twice a month so it must seem like a real treat to him! But before that I have this stunning Greek Wedding to share with you. Anatoli and Konstantinos chose an elegant ‘Mediterranean Garden’ theme and filled their day with the most gorgeous flowers, the accents of red really pop against the beautiful Greek backdrop. Big thanks to WedPashalis for the beautiful images.

A very special day with strong emotions, the time goes so fast that you don’t always realise what is happening.

Anatoli and Konstantinos were married on 24th August 2019 at Museum in Attica region of Greece.‘We married there because of our roots, the Greek summer atmosphere and the positive vibes of the place we chosen. We had 120 guests and it took 10 months to plan.’

How they met
We meet each other via common Greek friends in Germany where we used to live. At this time we were together 3.5 years

The proposal
The proposal took place in a breathtaking hotel in Mykonos island during our summer holidays.

How did you allocate your budget?
Based on the information from friends we had a first estimation of the costs.

Where did you splurge and where did you save?
We spend a lot on the flower decoration, and we saved money with the smart choice of the location.

How did you choose your photographer?
Based on their portfolio we saw in the internet and the communication via some video calls.

The dress and suit
Designer from Cyprus and the shoes were custom made by a shoemaker in Thessaloniki, Greece. The suit was measure made by a swiss tailor

theme or colour scheme
Theme was Mediterranean garden. The colours were taken from different photos from pinterest

Flowers and Decorations
Garden and button rosers, astilbe ,dahlia and lots of candles

Food
There was a big buffet , mainly based on Greek tastes

Wedding cake
Candy bar and dessert

Entertainment
At the beginning there was live folklore music band and then there was DJ

Special moments
The ceremony and the entrance after the ceremony in the area where the guests were waiting for us

Advice for other couples
Take enough time during the preparation at the wedding day to enjoy the time with your friends and family

Biggest surprise
That even how much you planned in detail, it can’t be realized 100% as you imagine. We were surprised how easy going our friends and family were.
