New Zealand Clifftop Sunset Wedding Inspiration

Today’s styled shoot is a real stunner, in fact you would be forgiven for thinking it’s an actual wedding as it’s so life like and set in the most breathtaking location. The shoot took place at The Farm Cottage Raglan in New Zealand in January of this year and features a real life couple. The outdoor ceremony and reception area set on the cliff tops overlooking the ocean, coupled with the beautiful greenery, festoon lighting and beautiful rustic decor, this shoot is totally breathtaking. Not only does it feature a real couple, there are also real guests too! With an array of delicious pizza to choose from against the sunset backdrop, I just adore the real nature of this shoot, the perfect inspiration for any Boho bride looking for an outdoor celebration.

Real-life lovebirds Tahlia & Ben set the scene in this Tuscan Italian styled shoot set on the seaside clifftop at Raglans newest wedding venue the “Farmhouse Cottage Raglan”. Shot by the talented Official Photographers this sunset shoot is one that our Brides will die for!

Shannon the Photographer tells us more about the shoot

The new venue made us want to use it in a way brides could see! Absolutely breathtaking views and cause for celebration! Showcase all these amazing vendors was our inspiration. An open air reception on a cliff in Raglan is definitely jaw dropping so we wanted to create it! We all feel super happy about how it all came together, specially celebrating afterwards with pizza and wine. It was simply gorgeous!

The Styling and planning by The White Wedding Club who styled the scene with romantic Italian influences using earthy tones and beautiful rust coloured napkins from Table Linens new collection and a soft glow of festoon lighting above the long styled macrocarpa table from Flatrock Events.

The Bride was breathtaking in Boho Bridals “Lyni” gown with floating tulle and sparkling lace wearing dare to be different red wine Eternal heels by Chaos & Harmony. The Groom look of softness and lightness defining modern tailoring in this taupe coloured Rembrandt suit cut from pure linen fabric that has been woven in Italy. The Bride had a soft flawless natural makeup with a warm slightly Smokey rose-gold eye, her lashes were beautiful and long and were a real feature, a gentle highlight added a dewy glow and was finished with a glossy nude lip. Her hair was relaxed with soft romantic undressed curls by Laura Adlam Beauty

Raglan Buds created a romantic vibe by drawing inspiration from the textures and tones of the late summer ‘Tuscan’ countryside. The florals were created using a mix of sage green tones, gypsophila, neutral toned florals with a pop of rust.  Mizzoni Pizzas catered the event with delicious woodfire pizzas made on site with their pizza oven cooked to perfection.  Signing and stationary by the talented Paper Darling sitting pretty next to Lofthouse gardens new Italian inspired plant hire range. The party wouldn’t of been complete without our Italian Olive Oil Station – delicious Ruapuke Artisan Breads alongside The Village Press olive oils made.
