‘Summer Solstice’ Warm and Relaxed Bohemian Wedding Inspiration

Today I have the most dreamy wedding inspiration to share with you. An amazing styled shoot that took place in the summer at Historic Shady Lane, Pennsylvania in the US. Cambria got together with a whole bunch of super talented wedding suppliers to put together this Summer Solstice inspiration shoot, full of beautiful ideas of how to manage the heat on your wedding day. Not only is this shoot totally practical but it looks amazing. The soft bohemian styling works so well against the summer haze. The bright fabrics, soft textures and amazing details are just stunning. I just love so much about this shoot, the flowers are divine but most of all the super cute Alpacas, they really steal the show.

Cambria Bailey the photographer tells us more about the day

Summer Solstice was the inspiration and the theme for our styled shoot. We wanted to provide an outlet to showcase our best work as well as inspire brides with the best way to approach hot and sunny outdoor weddings—no suit jackets here!

The warm color palette speaks to the vibes of summer and the subtle boho flavored details speak to a relaxing and and romantic atmosphere. To capture the right details, we came up with a short list of how to keep your wedding cool under the sun. Sandals, styled lounge areas with shade, braided up-do’s, seasonal flowers to avoid wilting, light and airy wedding dresses, and of course no suit jackets! These may sound like obvious solutions, but more times than not I find all these boxes unchecked!
