Colourful Bohemian Desert Vibes Elopement Inspiration

What do you get when you have a cool desert location, a super Boho wedding dress and an English photographer on a road trip around Arizona??? Today’s super cool desert inspired styled shoot! The shoot took place in January of this year at San Xavier Mission, Tucson desert Arizona, while Anna our photographer in question took some time out to road trip across America. Anna created a simple but colourful and beautifully photographed shoot with real couple Kiley and Tyn and the results are this super pretty collection of images.

Anna tells us more about the shoot

I was road tripping around America with a boot full of boho dresses from Shikoba bride’s new collection. I set up shoots along the way collaborating with local businesses in the USA and photographed local couples all around California and Arizona. I had had seen this beautiful chapel online as Jordan Voth (one of my favourite photographers) had shot there previously and this completely inspired me.  I knew I had to visit whilst I was passing through Arizona as it’s just such a stunning place.

I really wanted to feature a bridal style desert hat and really the styling was built around that! Shikoba bride’s bohemian dress ‘Luna’ is so stylish and contemporary I wanted the whole shoot to have the same feel. I wanted the images to be vibrant as that is my photographic style and also show the love between Kiley and Ty as this shoot was to mark their 1st anniversary.

I wanted to show a unique, desert style bridal look as in England we don’t really see this because of the lack of sun (and sand!). I wanted to create a look that was striking and stylish, showing individuality. I feel the shoot shows that you can really think outside the box a little when it comes to what you wear on your wedding day.
