Good afternoon everyone! How is your week going so far? I think mine has mainly consisted of dodging all these big rain showers we’ve been having, where has summer gone!? Without getting too British though, today we’re nipping over to Poland for a couple’s outdoor shoot… with alpacas! Full of rustic, traditional and Peruvian inspiration, this shoot is full of charming details and a real couple very much in love (and very brave around those alpacas… I’m not sure I would have been so confident!). I love the handmade details and bright colours, a super fun and cute shoot! Thanks to Motkowicz Photography for the images today.
What was your inspiration behind the shoot?
Our inspiration was open-air wedding receptions, which we photographed, as well as wedding websites publishing information regarding unique wedding receptions, encouraging creating a wedding ceremony, reception and outdoor photo session of your dreams. We have beautiful wedding halls and places where we want to be on the most important day of our lives. However, more often than not couples run away into the depths of nature.
Ania and Michał are in love with each other, in addition to being beautiful, young, talented and very happy. Their happiness, sense of beauty and Ania’s love of colour made the session reflect the naturalness, feelings and expression, which was the intention of our project. A make-up artist by profession, Ania prepared her wedding make-up by herself, and, by the side of Michał, who she styled herself, she looked like a bride of the photographer’s dreams. Ania’s hairdo, styled and created in Marta Wędrychowicz’s Studio, was flawless.
We were able to capture the tradition of exchanging the ring, symbolising the permanence of feeling, thanks to the jewellery from the latest line of Lazur company. We prepared the session trying to show that the unique nature and style does not have to be an excessive burden for the wedding budget. You don’t have to spend a small fortune to have a perfect wedding. Many couples who decide to organise their weddings in the bosom of nature choose the most important priorities being a photographer, video, accessories and freedom. The place is spacious enough for each guest to have a good time, feel cheerful and relaxed. Our guests may taste appetisers, barbecue dishes, as well as homemade cakes. What more could you ask for? And remember, selecting the day of the ceremony you may expect unique, special prices offered by many organisers of such events
What did you want to get out for the shoot and do you feel you accomplished this?
We prepared the session trying to show that the unique nature and style does not have to be an excessive burden for the wedding budget. The only element that our session lacked was Peruvian Pisco, and that may be the reason why no one danced.
More about the Shoot
To begin with, we have to mention about a film by Studio Makrowizja, which uniquely captured each detail. The co-operation with them is pure pleasure!
This styled photo session was created with the assistance of a few persons and companies specialising in the implementation of our young couples’ ideas. We started our project with a request for making the place accessible for the purpose of the session at Basia and Piotr’s, kind-hearted people dealing with alpaca breed as well as fleece processing into duvets and pillows. Everyone who wants to present something special and exclusive as a wedding gift is welcome to Alpax company in Korczyna. A real paradise for nature lovers.
Before choosing the wedding gown, each bride had already outlined the wedding of her dreams. Nevertheless, the place, season of the year, colour and motif must be considered at all times. Especially for Ania we have selected a very delicate gown, beautiful in its simplicity, with a wrap, in Ona bridal boutique. Gown Pamela from Gala collection, with an accessory (since, unfortunately, it was cold), perfectly matched the nature of the visualisation. The woollen scarf from Alpax proved very helpful.
Dani Motkowicz designed a concept of colourful wedding inspirations, and the wedding bouquet prepared by Miód Malina proved to be the jewel of the project. The bright colours in the wedding bouquets, buttonholes, as well as the terracotta pots perfectly harmonised with such colours of nature as green and brown.
The session accessories – invitations, vignettes and other decorations matching in each detail, colour and shape were handled by talented Lovendowe pole studio. The studio implements its visions and creates the best wedding setting one can dream about.
