Today we have a fabulous styled shoot to share with you from right on our doorstep! Set in the The beautiful Peak District, specifically Dove Dale and surrounding areas, this beautiful bohemian portrait shoot captures everything I love about the Peak District in Autumn. The colours, the hills and lots of foliage! The bride looks stunning in her gorgeous floral crown and that ethereal gown, and I like that the groom is styled in a slightly ‘un-done’ fashion for such a rustic setting. Many thanks Magda Kuczmik today to for the lovely images.
This shoot was part of talented Rosie Hardy’s workshop. I decided to do it to build my Bohemian wedding portfolio and also to meet like-minded photographers for future collaborations.
The inspiration was having a soft spot for anything Bohemian and wanting to photograph this style as a main wedding theme.
What did you want to get out for the shoot and do you feel you accomplished this?
I wanted to make a set of pictures that show beauty of bohemian style in wedding portraits. I also wanted to show a beautiful and unconventional location for wedding portraits.
Are you planning any more shoots?
Yes, for sure! Workshops are such a great way of collaborating, exchanging ideas, getting inspiration, meeting new friends and suppliers – I’m in for many more to come!
Looks awesome!
