Bridal Style: Whistles 2017 Wedding Collection – Designed For the Modern Bride

I am so so excited to write this post today! As much as I love supporting the independent bridal designer, I have a particular soft spot for Whistles as the contemporary women’s fashion choice with clean lines, pockets and bold prints. So, when we found out that they will be releasing their very first Wedding Collection in February 2017 at the London flagship, we just had to feature it! My favorites by far are the bardot-neckline number, and the one-shoulder with cape, but that wouldn’t stop me trying them all on!

Designed for the modern bride, Whistles Wedding will comprise of seven limited pieces in a range of versatile silhouettes including stepped hems, strapless, contemporary one shoulder and a refined high neck dress alongside a timeless jumpsuit.

Adorned in beautiful fabrics; delicate lace, organza jacquard, embroidered tulle and luxurious silk, and featuring internally boned bodices, each style is elegantly designed with subtle detailing including; scalloped edges, detachable trains, modem ruffles and finished with beautifully tied feminine back details.

Since its relaunch in 2008, Whistles has become a wardrobe staple for fashion editors and industry leaders, characterised by its contemporary and effortless style. Whistles encapsulates an intelligent sense of design with timeless and luxurious pieces. Collections are modern and laid back with an attention to detail and quality.

“We are excited to launch Whistles Wedding next year. We’ve had so much interest from customers on wedding attire that we felt the time was right to launch a contemporary collection of dresses for the modern bride. Whistles Wedding will offer our customer a refined collection from which they can choose something to wear for their big day; from a city wedding right through to a countryside celebration. The collection offers a range of dresses that are at once timeless and yet ‘of the moment’. The lace jumpsuit is my particular favourite; it will take you seamlessly from ceremony to wedding party. These are precious dresses, suitably special enough to celebrate the big day, yet won’t blow the honeymoon budget.” Nick Passmore, Creative Director, Whistles
