If you are looking for unique, personal and super cute wedding favours and stationery, then...
This afternoon we are heading to Abruzzo, on the upland of Campo Imperatore, Italy! I have a gorgeous, rustic Italian countryside shoot to share with you, full of traditional touches, wild blooms and breath-taking scenery. The foliage and floral decor comliment the landscape perfectly, with the groom’s red braces picking up the pops of colour throughout. A lovely relaxed wedding party or elopement scene, with many thanks to Andrea Calvano to the stunning images.
We created the photo shoot to propose different solutions and ideas for the wedding couple, enhancing the natural and rustic aspect of our land. All the wedding decorations are inspired to this landscape, and to the people who inhabit the area with inspiration from Abruzzo’s landscapes and nature, mountain people’s art and crafts and local traditions.
The aim of the photo shoot was to propose new solutions for the wedding couple, reviving very simple and yet essential elements of our local tradition. Old textiles sewn on cardboard are the base for placeholders, envelopes for hand-delivered wedding announcements, wedding guest book and for party favor boxes made by delicious cheese rounds. The venue is decorated by vintage lace wreaths and little flags that recall small town celebrations, and tin cans for flower vases arranged in relaxing corners. An old tobacco box becomes an alternative wedding ring box. Guests are seated on a long wooden table setup in an unpretentious way and ready to be filled by traditional local dishes. Centrepieces are made mainly by ivy, fern and fir twigs; bright coloured flowers made up the bridal bouquet along with feathers in a very rustic style.
