Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are enjoying the weather now it seems to have warmed up slightly. Could this be the start of Summer?! Today I have a lovely shoot to share with you courtesy of Nina Marika and The Curated Wedding Creatives. Shot at The Wellbeing Farm, Edgworth, Lancashire in May, there are pretty blooms, a styled tipi and some seriously cool lighting. Perfect boho luxe inspiration for those of you planning a tipi wedding!
Stylist Nina tells us more about the day:
It was a dream that turned into reality due to the fabulous & fun creative bunch that joined me on the day. They made my dream of curating an open day with a theme that perfectly matched the venue with perfectly matched suppliers. The Curated Wedding Creatives was born! We had a beautifully curated and styled wedding barn! A photographer, MUA, dresses, flowers and models it all made perfect sense.
The open day was a creative, chilled out, alternative to the traditional wedding fair for the eclectic couple I wanted couples to feel inspired to be able to walk into the barn and have dialogue with local creative suppliers in a relaxed atmosphere, ask questions, get involved, take time out to discus plans and dreams with family and friends. The Bar was open, the prosecco flowed and the brew station was very popular.
My inspiration was to showcase The Wellbeing Farm barn to create a relaxed bohemian luxe vibe to inspire and delight. The day before we foraged in the hedgerows and around the farm creating an arch of greenery at the end of the aisle and lots handcrafted elements like name tags, chalkboards and paper flower walls.
I wanted to gave the creative suppliers a place to feel inspired and be creative to showcase their products/brand in a real setting. instead of being stood being a 6ft trestle table with a sea of couples also feeling totally uninspired and alienated. It was a great to forum to share and inspire each other and our couples that visited that day it was great fun but most importantly bookings were made. Personally I let my imagination run wild I returned to the barn where my wedding adventure began I’m buzzing with ideas and energy to explore this concept at other venues in Autumn I also made lots of new creative friends.
