Revelry Hosted A Try-On Party For The Founder Of Leopard Martini And It is Officially Our Fave Event Ever
Today we have my good friends Revelry back on the blog. Revelry have been on the...
Good Afternoon and welcome to Friday! I am currently on my way back to Yorkshire from a very beautiful South Wales. It’s been a lovely few days here. I have been attending the SNAP Photography workshop which, as a photographer has been a lot of fun.
Today I am pleased to bring back our weekly feature Diary of a Boho Bride and this week it is Whitney and Tom’s turn. Just 6 weeks to go! Time is certainly flying by!
We now have less than 6 weeks to go wahooooo!
Everything is coming along very nicely but like most wedding plans our planning has not been without its dramas! Last week it was by chance that we happened to pop into our registry office to drop of our ceremony plan when we were told there had been a restructure and our registry office now fell under another council which meant we had to give notice all over again (bearing in mind we had been extra organised and did this last summer!) cue an emergency appointment and a plea to the boss to let me have some time off very last minute!!! It’s important to remember that sometimes these things do just happen and you have to just get on with it no matter how frustrating it may be!
On happier notes I can’t express how much we are looking forward to the big day, we will have been engaged 2 years in August and a part of me is excited about having our weekends (and money) back and beginning a new chapter of our lives. This being said I can’t help but feel a little sad that the only hen do(s) I’ll ever have are now over! But jeez were they the best (a huge thank you to my friends for planning such fun times). Here are a few snaps from my London/Newcastle hen and what we got up to….
As you know my Aunt is making my wedding dress, up until a few weeks ago we just had a mock-up of what the dress was going to look like however last weekend I got to try on the real thing and I love it! The next few weeks will involve finishing the final touches and buying a few accessories to finish it off – nothing like leaving the Bride to the last minute! It’s been quite a challenge as I haven’t had the opportunity like most in which you get to try on lots of accessories with the dress when you buy from a shop so I’m having to use lots of imagination -Pinterest has been a huge help as always. I’m thinking I’ll keep things quite subtle as I’m not a huge lover of bling!
So aside from bridal accessories, we’re quite keen to start packing in the next few weeks to ensure we have everything! We keep joking that we’ll be so focused on packing wedding things that we’ll forget to pack ourselves some holiday clothes!
Until next time (my last post eek!) xxx
