Anita and Alex’s Beautiful White South of France Wedding By Time Of Joy Photography

Today we are heading off for some more European Sunshine with this beautiful South of France Wedding. It’s a wonderful wedding set in the most stunning surroundings. Anita and Alex decided to combine the accommodation and reception into one venue, which meant a beautiful Bastide was the location for the reception, after a gorgeous church service. With lots of hand-made white decorations this wedding is simple in design but grand in its venue. Some truly stunning photography from Karolina and Adan at Time of Joy Photography really does make this a delight to look at.

‘A relaxed late summer weekend with family and close friends in a beautiful Bastide in the South of France. The ceremony was conducted in three languages (French, Polish, English) a beautiful church in a small picturesque village’

Anita and Alex were married on 26th September 2015. The ceremony was held at The Catholic Church of Le Tholonet, South of France. The reception was held at Les Coulisses, Aix-en-Provence, South of France. ‘We wanted Alex’s grandparents who live nearby to be able to attend, also Anita always wanted to get married in the South of France. We had a total of 70 guests and the wedding took 3 months to plan.’

How did you allocate your budget
We hired a bastide where we could host Anita’s family and hold the reception, caterers, food, drink, a marquee for the meal and dancing, a band, and photographers.

Where did you splurge and where did you save
Splurge: a gypsy six-piece band, photographers from Poland
Save: combining the accommodation and reception in one venue, decorations which we did ourselves, bouquets made by Alex’s Mum, electronic invitations
