Charli and Edd’s North Yorkshire ‘Festival in a Forest’ Fun Filled Wedding by Matt Thompson Photography
Happy Friday everyone, I hope you have all had a marvelous week? I don’t know...
Woo Hoo! Today is a happy day as today is the blogs birthday. 5 years ago this very day I started the blog and wrote my first blog post. 5 years on and the blog has come further that I could ever have imaged. It has a huge readership, both in the UK and worldwide, is well-respected and recognised as one of the countries leading wedding blogs. With a list of amazing and loyal sponsors the blog has become my full-time job, and one that I love every single day.
This year has seen me have my gorgeous baby boy Dexter, so I have had to lean the fine art of juggling work and family, which I can tell you has been no mean feat! Each day is different wearing mummy hat one day and work hat another but the blog still goes from strength to strength as I have learnt to use my time incredibly wisely, prioritising has become my middle name!
This year has also seen me take on my amazing assistant Kelly C. Kelly has been doing a wonderful job and I really couldn’t run the blog without her.
Earlier this year I launched our sister site A Boho Life where we have carried on the whole Boho vibe but this time talking about all things life, from food to travel, from babies to fashion. I love writing this blog and so far it has been very well received, so I have high hopes for A Boho Life’s future.
Today as well as celebrating the Blogs’ 5th birthday I am also looking for a little help from you to make the blog even bigger and better. So today, I’m asking you to fill in this little survey. There are 25 questions and from the answers I will be able to establish more about you the Boho reader, more about your wedding and what you like about the blog and what you’re not as bothered about.
My idea is to use the answers you give me to fine tune the blog, to take it to the next stage of its development and to make it better. I will collate the answers together early in the new year and post the results on the blog with my findings.
So today I’d like to thank each and every one of my awesome readers for making the blog what it is, I really do appreciate your continued support. Without you the blog would be nothing. So happy Birthday to Boho and here’s to another fabulous 5 years!
