Happy Sunday everyone, and how are you all today? Todays edition of the best bits is a bit of a sad one for me, as it is the last one I shall be putting together for a couple of months, as It is one of the features that Bran is going to be looking after for me while I am on maternity. But don’t worry the feature will still carry on as normal with lots of amazing wedding pretty from around the internet.
This week has been a good one for me, I officially started my maternity leave off in style on Monday celebrating Nik’s birthday, we had a lovely day which involved the last scan for baby bump Hood, only a week and a half to go now, so lets see if he decides to come early or hangs around for a bit longer. I am hoping for a few days early if I’m honest, I am more than ready to meet him now. The nursery is all ready for him, my hospital bag is packed, the house has been decorated and we have been on a bit of a spending spree kiting it out with new furniture and accessories….I guess that nesting instinct has well and truly set for both of us! I just can’t wait to hold him in my arms now and give him lots of cuddles! The rest of the week has been good but I have to admit I have still had quite a bit of work to finish. I’m hoping next week will be a bit more chilled and I can finally switch off from work and take a few days for myself before the baby arrives. This weekend has been lovely. Becky the baby’s godmother came to visit on Saturday with her family and we had a lovely time catching up. Today we are off to see our friends Sam and Sarah who had a baby about 3 weeks ago, the rest of the day I am hoping to take it easy and put my swollen feet up!
What about you? what have you got planned? What ever it is make sure you take some time out to enjoy this weeks Best Bits. My weekly round-up of the best the wedding world has to offer!
I just love this wedding, so full of English country charm and so many beautiful details. I thought it also fitting to choose a wedding from Love my Dress to celebrate Annabel’s new website design. Photo by Ross Harvey

Love the quote about an umbrella, it says a lot how any relationship should work.
