Melissa and George’s Macramé and Dream Catchers ‘Boho Heaven Wedding’ by Danielle Smith Photography

Today I am bringing some lovely summer sunshine into your lives with this super pretty ‘Boho Heaven Wedding‘ from Danielle Smith Photography. Melissa and George wanted a relaxed party wedding that was filled with gorgeous Boho decoration & soft styling and that is exactly what they got. Their wedding is so so pretty and is a real Boho dream. The macramé detailing and the dream catchers are all delightful. As for the wedding cake and that cake table, WOW! It all looks amazing. Melissa looks drop dead gorgeous in her Grace Loves Lace gown. But the real stars are Melissa and George’s two boys who real steal the show. They are super cute and add a real family vibe to their day.

Fun, relaxed, party vibes, all about food, drink and having a good time

Melissa and George were married on 24th August 2019 at Marks Hall Estate, Coggeshall in Essex. They had 117 guests. The ceremony was a celebrant ceremony and was really personal to them and was about the four of them being bonded together as a family forever. It was really beautiful. They did a sand ritual where they all poured sand in together to represent this.

How they met
Melissa and George have been together for 7 years now and have 2 beautiful boys together who played a huge role in day being page boys.

How did you choose your photographer?
Melissa was really interested in having a natural fine art style look to her photographs.

The dress and outfits
Melissa’s lace fitted dress is from Grace Loves Lace as well as her gorgeous anklets and veil. The shoes are Rachel Simpson. The bridesmaids dresses are from TH&TH – a lovely mixture of gorgeous pastel colour shades. The suits were from Topman and the Page boys outfits were Mark Darcy.

Melissa loved the Boho style and everything really came together well from her Grace Loves Lace dress with long flowy sleeves and off the should neck line, her pearl speckled cathedral veil, the macramé chair details, and the pastel tones throughout. The flowers were a lovely blend of pastel with a slightly wild look to fit the boho theme.

Decoration
The styling was by the very talented Rock The Day Styling who created a Boho Heaven in the Coach House at Markes Hall Estate. The macramé details, dream catcher backdrop for the cake table and the wooden tables and chairs really finished off the overall look. This was so important to Melissa and she worked so hard to make her boho vision come to life, carefully choosing the right suppliers for her.

Food
The food was a relaxed BBQ with dishes served up to the tables to share. The cake table was immense! They had a huge selection of different cakes, cupcakes and amazing donuts.

Entertainment
Music was really important to them. They had an acoustic singer and keyboard during the ceremony and drinks reception. Even during the meal and then an amazing live band in the evening.

Special Moments
It was really special when the bridal party entered the reception dancing. Lead by Melissa and George all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen danced their way in all around the guests before everyone seated to enjoy their meal. It was so much fun!
