Erina and Dominic’s Summer Fete Wedding. By Taran’s Wilkhu Photography

Wow it’s Thursday already, I’m not sure where the week has gone! I’ve had a busy one so far this week and have taken quite a bit of time off, so I don’t feel I have been in the office that much at all, but I’m back to the normal schedule today and back in work mode in full force! Today’s wedding is a super cute Summer fête themed wedding that took place in the Cotsworlds. Erina and Dominic were so lucky with the weather and managed to hold the entire day outside including the ceremony. With lots of garden games a picnic, a BBQ in the evening and some beautiful floating lanterns to end the celebrations, this wedding is just gorgeous. Thanks to  Taran’s Wilkhu Photography for the Photos.

‘A magical day full of laughter and joy. It brought together for the first time our friends and family from across both Erina’s and Dominic’s different sides of the world – very special’

Erina and Dominic who were married on 10th August at Middle Aston House in the Cotswolds. ‘We loved the venue because of the exclusive hire and the stunning location, plus it had loads of accommodation. We had 120 guests and it took 6 months to plan.’

Theme or colour scheme
We went for a ‘Summer Fete’ theme, with lots of Rustic & DIY Decoration.

Flowers
We bought the flowers from Covent Garden market at 4am the day before the wedding to supplement the preserved flowers Erina’s mum had made for the bouquet and button holes.

Personal or handmade touches
The majority of the summer fete wedding theme was DIY from the guestbook, the flowers, the signage and each and every game stall (chess, dominos, jenga, sushi making, splat the rat, croquet, bowls, coconut shy, hoopla etc).

Special moments
Saying ‘I Do’. The biggest surprise was how much everyone loved it so much
