Boho Pins: Flower Buttonholes

boho pins

Welcome along to another edition of Boho Pins, where I delve into my pinterest board collection and choose one to share with you. If you’re planning a wedding then pinterest is the perfect visual planning tool. Fantastic for putting ideas together and keeping all your ideas organised! You can find me here pinterest.com/bohoweddings and I update my boards on a daily basis!

Today I am looking at Flower buttonholes. I say flower buttonholes specifically, as there are so many other options these days for more alternative buttonhole ideas and I will be looking at these in a few weeks/months time. For now though I’m sharing with you a few of my favourite flower ideas. It seems that I am drawn to yellow and succulents, which you will see if you look at my complete board, but I have tried to keep this selection as broad as possible, without going down the traditional rose option. There are so many pretty flowers around, and so many ways to make the groom and groomsmen buttonholes stand out from the norm. Try adding in textures to the flowers, natural foliage, with twigs, ribbon, raffia, anything to add a bit of something different to the decoration. Try adding in a selection of flowers instead of just one flower, mix up the colours. But what’s most important is that you choose something that reflects your personality! You can see my full Buttonholes pinterest board HERE.
