Saturday Cinema: Kate and Bens Cornish Forest Wedding by First Sight Videos

Happy Saturday everyone, Only 3 weekends now till Christmas, are you excited?? I can’t blooming wait! Although I have a STACK of Christmas cards to write and no idea when I am going to get chance to them!…..anyone fancy giving me a hand?? Anyway I have to tell you that this is the penultimate Saturday cinema, the feature will be ending next week as the new blog launches and in comes a brand new blogging scedual. But don’t worry I shall still be bringing you fabulous wedding videos every now and again in the week day.
But for now I’d like to thank Gary and Martin from First Sight Videos for this amazing wedding film today, I have to say it is one of my all time favourites if not my all time favorite wedding film that I have featured on the Blog, and when you watch it you will understand why!

The lovely couple are Ben and Kate who were married on 30th June, both the ceremony and reception were held at ‘Cornish Tipi Weddings’ at Pendoggett in North Cornwall. (not far from Padstow) and everything about it is absolutely perfect! The film really tells the story of not only the wedding day but of the couple, I really feel that I know them so much better after watching it! The speeches made me cry, the ceremony made me cry! It really is a very heartfelt day! Kate looks Stunning as does Ben what a totally awesome couple! And what a location, the idea of getting married in a forest is just perfect! as is everything in this wedding film………go watch it NOW!!

I asked Gary and Martin what their favourite part of the wedding was ‘Our favourite part of the wedding was the location. We were so lucky to be invited to film at a place like Cornish Tipi Weddings. Numerous Tipis are dotted around beautiful woodland, with winding pathways leading to an open area with with a wedding Pavilion. The venue is completely away from any roads so its a really tranquil location for a wedding. Added to this there is a small lake tucked away from view where rowing boats are can be used for photographs and filming, or even just for guests to have fun.’

Why is it important for couples to have a wedding film made? ‘Having a wedding video is a great way to remember your wedding. The technology and skills are available now to make sure that the videos can be of the highest quality. Also social media allows you to share your wedding day with family and friends much easier. After all the work and cost and preparations to make one day so special, its great to be able see that day again and relive those feelings, and like with the wedding photographs, the video will become a family heirloom.’

What makes a good wedding film? ‘What makes a wedding video good is being able to tell the story of the people at a really special time in their lives. If the story is told well enough then the video will be something that anyone can watch and feel something for, even if they don’t know the couple involved. Great speeches also really help a wedding video as they can often add a really personal message to the film, whether it’s a funny story or a really nice toast to the couple.’
