365 Happiness Project: Day 229

• Today it’s the small things (well in this case not that small) that make me happy, and it comes in the form of a gate! we live in a semi-detached house with a gate that locks up our side gitty. This has been broken for months in fact a year now. Nik’s dad has had us a new gate made but that was about 4 months ago, this week the gate eventually went up, and today Nik finished staining it………..and it looks bloody amazing. Yes it’s just a gate but if you knew the full story of the complete pain it has been to get it fixed you would understand why the site of it attached to the wall is such a beautiful site! I’d like to thank Nik’s dad for all his hard work and of course to Nik. Now I just need to find a  cute house number to finish it off!
