Today I ventured out of my office and headed up to Leeds for a day of photography training. Since I had my camera for my birthday I have done pretty much nothing with it, to scared to pick it up as had no idea what I was doing. So when Jaye from Tux and Tales Photography told me about a photography workshop she was running for bloggers and people in the wedding industry I jumped at the chance to be part of it. There were 7 of us in total and pretty much all of us were beginners so Jaye had her work ut out. She guided us though a morning of theory where she explained the basics fo photography, and then in the afternoon we got our cameras out and did some practical. The day was great and I feel like I learnt a lot. I still have a long way to go before I have figured out what my camera is able to do but I feel like I have taken the first steps to getting some kind of decent photo out of it. Now I just need to practice!
Thanks so much Jaye, today was a happy day! and thanks to Phoebe for holding the workshop in her house.
Kelly thanks so much for coming! I am so excited to see your pictures just get better and better. :)
Now that you know how to make ‘the blur’ – the sky is the limit!
Now get those images off your camera girl!
