Saturday Cinema: Grace and Ben’s Barn Wedding by Ever After productions

Happy Saturday everyone, I hope it’s a good one for you all. I have a gorgeous Saturday Cinema for you today. It has been sent into me by Sylvia from Ever After Video Productions who are regulars on the blog.  It’s the wedding of Ben & Grace who were married on 3rd December at Tithe Barn, Petersfield, Hampshire.

The wedding itself is stunning, with the most amazing venue (I do love a barn wedding!) Grace looks amazing in her dress, she really is the most beautiful bride. I Love the little wink she gives Ben during the ceremony, so cute! And their first kiss really did make me smile! But my favorite bit has to be Grace’s face when she sees the geese following her and Ben during the couples shots….classic!

I asked Sylvia What her favourite part of the wedding was ‘I really loved the way Grace looked, she could have run away from movie set from the silent era. She was just so elegant and sweet.  Then there were the little details like the hot chocolate during the drinks reception and the mistletoe on the tables. And for us, from a “work” point of view, their photographer, Jay Rowden was a joy to work with and we also love working at this venue, it’s just perfect there every single time.

What do you think make a good wedding video ‘Personality. If the couple’s personality shines through, if you feel like you get to know them through their wedding film then you’re on to a winner. We always want to make a wedding film that reflects what is unique and special about our couples. For us making a wedding film is not about catching the eye candy, however beautiful it all is, it’s about capturing the couple. I love it when I watch a wedding film and think “I wish I had been there”. And that, to me, is always down to the filmmaker’s ability to capture the personality of the couple.’
