Saturday Cinema: Cristina and MP’s Scottish bash by Love Gets Sweeter

Today’s featured presentation on Saturday Cinema is brought to you by Love gets Sweeter and it’s a gorgeous wedding set in the Scottish highlands. I love the introduction to this wedding film, very quite (as in the song used) with some beautiful shots of the Scottish countryside, then it goes in full speed into the wedding.
It’s a light hearted and fun film with some great musicality through the editing of the film itself, so full marks to Charlene at Love gets sweeter for that!

Cristina and MP’s Wedding Highlights from Love Gets Sweeter on Vimeo.

The couple getting married are Cristina and MP (Mark-Paul) who tied the knot on 24th July 2010 at Loch Insh Church for the ceremony  and Inshriach Estate, Kincraig for the reception (all in the Scottish Highlands)
I asked Charlene what her favourite part of the wedding was ‘That’s a tough one to answer as there were so many elements that came together to make the perfect wedding. From the romantic setting of the church that happened to have been the  place Cristina’s parents were married in, to the super relaxed feel of the  estate garden party. The sinking cake (as the family had drenched it in  alcohol!) to the Rage Against the Machine/ Beyond the Sea remix first  dance…just brilliantly personal
What do you think makes a good wedding video ? ‘It’s not about the amazing setting or expensive details, it’s about being yourself. Personality is  what makes our wedding films. I  specialise in re-telling the story of the  wedding day so it’s a true reflection of the couple. I’ve found most Grooms say they’re shy and are nervous about the camera and then end up stealing the show  so I would defiantly say my personal favourite bits of a wedding film are the  bits you don’t get to see on the day, like you both getting ready!’
