Village Fete Inspiration Boards: colours and ideas.

I’ve been working with one of my couples Rachel and Kevin over the last couple of months, who are planning their wedding for June this month in Harrogate. They booked my Partial Planning service so I have been heavily involved in helping them choose suppliers, come up with ideas and generally co-ordinate the whole thing.
They are having a traditional style marquee at the back of the local pub. It’s a very relaxed day and they really wanted to bring a touch of the country to their day. They also wanted to make it fun and very non traditional, so we are adding in lots of village fete elements to the day with things like a cake competition table, a coconut shy, splat the rat andmany other village fete games.Tthe flowers are very natural and un arranged, while the food is a relaxed ploughmans dinner with lost of meats, cheeses and salads.
I have really enjoyed planning this wedding, it’s given me lots of room for creativity, I really can’t wait for the big day.

As with all of my brides I have put together an inspiration board so we can visualise the ideas we are working to. The first one is more of the design and colours we are using, soft pinks, greens and blues, while the 2nd one shows a few of the Village fete elements we can use to incorporate into the day.
I hope you like them.
