Natalie and Mark’s Natural and Simple Flower Filled Outdoor Barcelona Wedding by Laura Stramacchia

Today I am taking you away from all the madness of the world as we head off to Spain for this gorgeous outdoor wedding. Natalie and Mark’s wedding was celebrated at the end of May in the splendid setting of Casa Felix, a delightfully spread out hotel (it was an old village) a few kilometres from Sitges, near Barcelona. They made the most of the stunning location and opted for simple and natural decoration, with the main focus on the beautiful flower arrangements. Such a wonderful day filled with so much joy, all captured beautifully by Laura Stramacchia.

Rebecca from Barcelona Brides tells us more about the day.

We are pleased to share the beautiful destination wedding of Natalie and Mark filled with simple, yet high-impact details, a breathtaking venue, and live music. It was such an honour to work with them on their special day and bring their vision to life.

Natalie and Mark chose to have their destination wedding here in Barcelona because Natalie did her Erasmus here and lived in Spain as a child. She is originally from Belgium and they had an international guest list travelling from Ireland, the US and other parts of Europe.
The couple met through mutual friends and after dating for 2 and half years they got engaged in Bruges, Belgium.

For their wedding day, they wanted to keep things natural and simple to show off the beautiful Casa Felix (their venue) with some small touches of flowers, etc. They wanted their floras to be natural, wild, and not too fussy with exposed wooden tables for a laid back feel. During their cocktail hour, they had a traditional Spanish guitarist and a live band for their reception.
