María and Sergio’s Pretty Pastel Fashion Themed Spanish Wedding by Ambrosia Wedding and German y Vero

Hello Monday and welcome to another fabulous week on the blog. I have planned a jam packed week for you with so many amazing real weddings and a vast collection of wedding articles to share. It’s going to be a busy one! How was your weekend? I hope you had a good one? Mine was spent at the theatre on Saturday afternoon with Dexter which was lots of fun. Then on Sunday we caught up with family. I manged to get a lot of jobs done and now I’m feeling fresh and ready for this chocka week ahead of me. Today María and Sergio have been kind enough to share their wedding with us, courtesy of their wedding planners Ambrosia Wedding and photographer German y Vero. The whole day is just gorgeous with outstanding attention to detail. The decor in the reception marquee is beautiful, the soft peach colour scheme mixed with the pretty pastel decor is amazing. The dessert station is a feast for the eyes and as for María’s gown, WOW! She looks absolutely stunning. I just love this wedding, what a way to start the week.

An amazing party in a breathtaking Spanish location with friends and family which made it an unforgettable experience.

María and Sergio were married in June, their ceremony was held at Church of Roquetas del Mar, Almería, in southeast Spain, with the reception at Villa Maltes. ‘It was the perfect wedding location, an amazing rustical cortijo away from the city, with an amazing view and accommodation for our closest friends and family. We could celebrate until the morning because we were just with us. We had 180 guests. It was organised by Ambrosia Wedding and the preparation took around 9 months. We have been together 14 years in total’

How did you allocation the budget?
Maricarmen and Sergio told us their must haves for the wedding and also their fanciest dreams how it could look like. They also gave us a budget not to exceed. Ambrosia Wedding took that into account and created the wedding concept.

Where did you splurge and where did you save?
The wedding dress and the detailed decoration in the wedding location were a priority for the couple. The food was less important but they put a focus on a great party.

Photographer:
They had a friend who was photographer.

The dress
Immaclé Novias Barcelona

Theme or colour scheme
Colorful pastel and the theme was fashion

Flowers
Protea, eucalyptus, olive tree (in Spanish summer you can´t have a lot of flowers)

Decoration
María Carmen is an Instagram Girl and Ambrosia Wedding included her style and her faible for fashion into the decoration. E.g. the seating plans were printed on T-Shirts in a wardrobe and the entrance door to the dining room was a wardrobe door.
Funny detail: The guests loved the T-Shirts so much that they just took them out of the wardrobe and last guests to arrive couldn’t find their seats on the plan anymore.

Wedding cake
No wedding cake but a sweet table with small details that suited with the concept, like little cookie dresses in a small wardrobe in pastel colours.

Entertainment
DJ

Stationary
María José Ortega, Creatimop
