As you know here at Boho we are all about creating the wedding you want, thinking outside the box and doing things your way. Weddings don’t have to fit into a mould, you don’t have to recreate the same wedding your sister, mother or best friend had. Weddings these days are all about breaking down preconceptions and doing things just the way you like.
So today I am looking at alternative wedding entertainment ideas in the form of Funfair Rides.
My first memory of seeing funfair rides at a wedding was back in 2012 when I planned the amazing wedding of Claire and Tom. Claire had booked a selection of funfair rides for her big day and the results were pure wedding perfection. The rides kept the guests entertained for hours and they looked AMAZING! From then on I have been hooked.
When I see any kind of funfair ride at a wedding I know I have to feature it on the blog. From carousels, ferris wheels, dodgems, helter skelters, waltzers, coconut shy, hook a duck, you name it they all add that extra magic to your wedding reception.
It may seem like an extravagance but the cost of hiring a selection of funfair rides could work out the same prices as hiring a band. You could have one or you could have all of them, the choice is yours, so flexible for all budgets.
If you are looking for a funfair company then I highly recommend Eddy Leisure. The Eddy family has been hiring funfair rides for over 60 years and now is in the third generation. They are based in Yorkshire but cover all the UK. Their rides are all extremely popular but the ferris wheel hire and dodgems hire are the most popular.
So why not consider hiring a funfair ride for your wedding, they will really add a huge dose of personality to your day and they will certainly be a talking point with your guests.
