Today’s wedding is one beauty of a day and with not one but two brides...
As you probably know we are big fans of Revelry here at Boho Weddings. We have featured them a number of times, most recently when they gave us an exclusive look at their new 2018 Summer Collection.
Today I am super excited to share with you a new concept they have: The ‘Try on Party!’ Revelry differs from other online bridesmaid boutiques in that they offer samples for bridesmaids to try before they buy. They took things one step further and hosted Rachel, their very own Social Media Coordinator, her very on Try-On-Party to let each of her bridesmaids pick the perfect sequin & tulle style to fit Rachel’s theme.
Rachel, was proposed to by her all too perfect, partner In October 2017. Rachel hosts a weekly recap of her wedding planning journey on @shoprevelry’s Instagram stories every Sunday, so who better to have a Try-On-Party than her! To hear more, we are going to let Michelle Deloach, the founder and designer behind Revelry give you all the details!
“I wanted to supersize what we offer with our Sample Box process, and host a Try-On Party for Rachel and her Bridesmaids. With our Sample Box process, anyone can order dresses to try on in their own home. It is such an easy way to get together with your gal pals and nail down the perfect looks. There is no pressure of the bridal boutique, a wide range of sizes can be ordered, and you can actually see color swatches of every fabric that Revelry Bridesmaid Dresses are available in. Most importantly, any reason to get together with your girls and drink champagne is a win in our books. Although not just any Try-On Party with some champagne would do. It was imperative for us to amp up the imagination and make this event as unique as Rachel is herself.”
“To stay in theme with her wedding which is on Halloween and her bachelorette party which is coven themed, the Try-On Party had to be witchy. That’s right; we were going to deck my flat out with all things dark and mysterious. An incense and mimosa bar titled “pick your poison”, dark moody flowers and gold-rimmed glasses. Just as a side note, the requested dress for her wedding is “Halloween Formal” which is a whole new category of dress created by the sorceress herself. Her invitations contain a link to a Pinterest board filled with visual inspiration on exactly what that means.“
“I racked my brain for weeks about how we could possibly do something extra special and creative for our one of a kind girl. I wanted her to feel the love, the party had to be extra special and the idea hit me one day: She needed to have a bridal tailored Try-On Party for herself! We could deck her out with coven themed attire for her bachelorette party. I hand selected several hats and shoes she could try on and select her favorites to keep that would be matched with her new Skylar Tulle Skirt in black. It was so much fun helping her create the ultimate witchy outfit she would need for her bachelorette party.“
“It ended up being so important that the bridesmaids were able to get together to play dress up. Everyone ended up picking a different look than they originally picked from browsing the collection online! The day was fun, memorable and Rachel got to check one more item off of her planning list!”
