Hello everyone are you having a good week so far? Today I have a lovely inspiration shoot to share with you, full of spring florals, beautifully pretty styling and delicate vintage details. Vintage Amy and Katie Rogers Photography have produced these gorgeous images today to really showcase a bluebell wood in all its glory, and I’m sure you will agree that they have done a spectacular job!
More from Amy about the Shoot
I have wanted to use my beautiful vintage props for a woodland styled shoot for a while now, when it was coming up to bluebell season I seized the perfect opportunity! I wanted to make the bluebells a stand-out element in this shoot, so chose a neutral palette to set the scene for a bride awaiting her groom.
Mixing more luxe items, such as the calligraphy stationery and Jenny Packham ‘Apache’ dress (supplied by Pantiles Bride) with my more refined vintage items, such as the pretty lace and the velvet sofa, allowed for a more elegant and sophisticated, yet whimsical and magical feel.
I like to showcase my vintage items and props in this kind of way, allowing couples to see that choosing vintage does not have to mean rustic or mismatched. For me, I like my styling to be more refined and elegant, whilst using authentic vintage in all I do.
I love working with Katie on my work, as she captures beautiful light and showcases my items and styling perfectly. We work well together and both love this kind of style.
Kass from Kasserina Cakes designed the most stunning cake for our shoot, which was classic with a beautiful floral design to work with the concept. All it needed was to sit on a table on its own to show case it.
With beautiful flowers from Lisa at Cabbage White and on-the-day stationery by Ipek at Mango Tree London, it all came together perfectly. Our beautiful model Chloe wore the dress perfectly, with loose whimsical hair-up by Mari at Chase Make-Up and make-up by Natasha at Natasha Valerie Make-Up. Last but by no means least, we’ve shown the kind of stationery that would work perfectly with this concept of wedding, by Lizzie at Connie & Joan.
