Boho Woodland Wedding Inspired Shoot by Real Simple Photography

Happy May Day Bank Holiday everyone! I hope you are having a nice chilled out day? Today I have a lovely shoot to share with you from Bignor Park, Sussex. Full of rustic charm and whimsical woodland inspired details, stylists To Have and To Hire have produced a wonderful inspiration piece. With fabulous images from Real Simple Photography, enjoy!

Taking inspiration from the location in the Sussex countryside this bohemian shoot focused on natural tones, with bohemian styling, feathers, rustic décor and a very trendy horse box bar!

More about the shoot: 

Bignor Park is a unique venue with so many beautiful secluded locations throughout its grounds with awe inspiring views of the south downs.  From a spiritual zen pond to formal gardens nestled around the greek loggia.  As soon as we visited Bignor we fell in love with its unique charm and that’s where our journey began.  No words can describe the beauty of this place, we believe that this comes across in the images.

Nestled deep in the Sussex countryside we were inspired to include these elements throughout the images.  This look was achieved with simple additions such as feathers in the bridal bouquet and a stunning woodland themed cake.  Every wedding is a celebration, it was important to us that the décor showed this.

The main reception area at Bignor Park is a converted stables, the obvious choice for us was to include the vintage bar box, a beautifully converted horse box bar! The stables were decorated with a delicate fairy light and fun tassel canopy to the centre of the room, finished off with a central chandelier.  Flowers were a huge element of this shoot from the bridal headpiece to bouquet which also included feathers.

The shoot was so much fun, we collaborated with lots of amazing suppliers and we are so pleased with the images.  We hope that the fun that we had on the day shines through and that many couples are inspired to bring the countryside into their day. This shoot has definitely inspired us for the next one!
