Boho Loves: Glitz and glamour from The Deckers Group

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your Monday is going well so far. I have a fabulous collection of venues to share with you today – so if you are still at the beginning of your wedding planning this might very helpful! There’s an option for everyone here, for celebrations big or small.

Just over the Peak District from Boho HQ, the Deckers Group has a chain of hotels and restaurants around Rochdale. This beautiful part of the English countryside is often overlooked, but with its proximity to Manchester city centre, these are amazing locations with great transport access, to make very special weddings and long-lasting memories. The group also has a fantastic hotel, just outside Huddersfield, with amazing views of the Pennine Hills.

Everyone at The Deckers Group loves working on a wedding, and their warm and welcoming attitudes help make the day just that little bit more special.  We take a look at their four wedding venues and what makes them stand out.

The Peacock Room

The Peacock Room is an intimate and incredibly glamorous art deco-style restaurant, channelling the glitz of the 1920s. Two enormous glittering crystal chandeliers hang from the (supported!) ceiling, ornate peacock carvings adorn the heavy doors, and a beautiful stone archway divides the main restaurant from the small cocktail bar.

With two AA rosettes and a Michelin Knife and Fork award, this is one of Greater Manchester’s finest restaurants. With an influence of French cuisine, this fine dining restaurant uses the absolute best ingredients to create a true taste experience.
Our head chef will work closely with the happy couple to create a bespoke menu that reflects their tastes and live together. Alternatively, they are happy to provide set menus to choose from. We also have an in-house wine buyer who will match the perfect wines to the chosen menu.

With a civil ceremony licence, the wedding itself can be held under the stunning chandeliers, with a red carpet aisle for a decadent wedding.
The Peacock Room is based at Crimble Hall, a historic former manor house with spectacular views across the Roch Valley and towards Manchester city centre.

Crimble Hall also offers further spaces to hold a special wedding reception, with a civil wedding licence as well. The Conservatory Restaurant can seat 180 people, and also offers incredibly high standards of food, made with the freshest ingredients and meat selected from Deckers’ own butchery.

The wedding co-ordinators work closely with the happy couple, whichever location at Crimble Hall they choose, to ensure they have a completely unique and individual day.

Crimble Hall has extensive landscaped gardens, as well as The Secret Garden, to ensure stunning wedding photography to look back on for a lifetime.

The Royal Toby Hotel

Nearby is The Royal Toby Hotel, which offers overnight stays for weddings held at Crimble Hall, as well as having its own magnificent function room to hold weddings.

The Rhyddings Suite is a beautiful place to hold a civil wedding ceremony, followed by a traditional wedding breakfast and reception. With hand-crafted oak panelling and crystal chandeliers, this is an opulent room for the most special day in a couple’s life.

With its own kitchen, bar and cloakroom, the Rhyddings Suite has everything to make a wedding day to remember. The wedding co-ordinator and team of chefs work closely with every couple to ensure they have their perfect wedding day menu, with matched wines and cocktails, if requested.

The Royal Toby Hotel has 53 bedrooms so guests can stay overnight, with a complimentary bridal suite for the happy couple.

Pennine Manor Hotel

Over the hills into West Yorkshire, Pennine Manor Hotel has stunning views to make for a romantic and secluded wedding destination. With a civil ceremony licence, weddings and receptions can be held in either the Branson Suite or the Hilltop restaurant.

The team of talented chefs are happy to create a bespoke menu, or work with the fantastic set menus on offer. Reception drinks can be held on the beautiful terrace before moving inside for an amazing wedding breakfast.

With 31 bedrooms in the hotel, guests can stay the night in the recently refurbished rooms, and a complimentary bridal suite is also available.
