Today I would like to introduce you to Anon Designer the brainchild of Erica and Lyndsey who set up this fab stationery company earlier in the year. ‘Our bespoke designs originate from ideas and colours that the bride or groom give us during our initial chats with them. We want our work to reflect their personality so our designs always incorporate something quirky and personal that friends and family will really love to see on the day. If we are designing new ranges for our NOTHS store then we take inspiration from living in such lovely surroundings – the seaside in Cornwall and the rugged moors in Devon. We’re also huge fans of great typography and bright florals’

‘We’re Erica and Lyndsey, two close friends who formed Anon Design through a mutual love of creating unique pieces of work for lovely people. We create and sell designs that we’d love to use for our weddings, our children’s parties and in our home, and this means we’re totally passionate about them, and about making them right.  We are focused on selling accessible stationery for everyone including, wedding stationery, birthday and special event invites, birth announcements, posters for your home, chalkboards for weddings and other occasions. Our designs are bespoke, fun and most importantly not hard on the bank account!  We have a huge range of wedding invites to suit your individual style from vintage garden party to floral and nautical and we are happy to customise all designs to match your required colour scheme and wording.’ 

We asked Erica and Lyndsey from Anon Design to tell us more about their beautiful products……

What made you start your business
With a mutual love for creative design we have both worked in the industry for over 10 years and wanted to branch out into our own less corporate design world. Working on designs that we love, in areas that we are passionate about, with things that inspire us every day we found we worked really well together. We wanted the same goals, to achieve our own successful creative business balanced with our family home lives.

What sort of geographical area do you cover
We can cater for any area, the great thing about our industry is that we aren’t limited by location or distance. Wherever you are we’d be happy to work with you

What were you doing before you started Anon Designs
We have both worked in the creative industry since university, but in much more corporate sectors. Erica was Creative Manager for a web development company and Lyndsey was Creative and Marketing Manager for a print production company

How would you describe your style
We have a really varied collection of designs, we love anything from vintage florals, to quirky nauticals and all in between! We get inspired by so many different things that we can’t help inject them into our style.

What is your biggest achievement so far in your business
Finalists at the South West Wedding Awards, being accepted onto Not on the High Street.

What makes you different to your competitors
We think being a strong feminine duo gives us a nice edge. With a grounded ethos on keeping things beautiful but affordable.

What do you enjoy most about your job
Being able to design lovely things for lovely people. Seeing designs created for the most special of days in people’s lives – weddings, christenings, births – it’s so nice to be a tiny part of that

What sort of couple do you think you attract
We think our client base is fairly varied. Anything from the couple with a classic traditional style, to those wanting a bold bright wedding. We think we offer something for everyone.

What would be your ideal wedding to work on
Ooh that’s a tough one, we love a good cider drinking, barn dancing, bunting covered shindig. But equally a classic hamptons beachside wedding would be amazing too

Can you give our Boho Readers a little information about your pricing structure
Our invitations start from £2 each, with supporting elements such as RSVP & info cards for £1 each, belly bands at 70p and envelope liners at 30p. On the day stationery such as order of service at £2 each and menu cards at £1.50. What is your ideal way to spend a day off
In the fresh air with our husbands and kiddies, enjoying the South West beaches and countryside, with a good picnic!

What can you never leave the house without
Notebook and camera, but sadly also wet wipes these days

What would you do if you won the lottery
A giant holiday with all our besties, followed by the ability to concentrate fully on building our business!
