This afternoon we are back with our monthly honeymoon feature from our resident Honeymoon expert Tom. Tom has given us lots of interesting honeymoon related advice over the last few months and today he is back talking us though a few healthy honeymoons ideas, especially for all you energetic couples. I love these ideas and suggestions from Tom, I am one of those people who just cannot sit still on holiday so I need to have some kind of activities to do, these suggestions are perfect!
The purpose of a honeymoon is to celebrate brand a new life together; and what better way to celebrate than by making some new memories in a beautiful, exotic place with no-one else around? But if an indulgent week-long break with no exercise and too much booze is your idea of a nightmare, take a look at these alternative honeymoon ideas. Here are 5 healthy honeymoons for energetic and active couples in search of something different.
Cycling is a fantastic way to explore the great outdoors in Mallorca – and it’s also a good all-body workout. Stay active during your honeymoon and explore some of Mallorca’s most epic bike routes; the East Tramuntana Route (104 miles starting and ending in Pollenca), the West Tramuntana Route (103 miles through the Serra de Tramuntana range), or the Banyalbufar & the Western Coast Route (49 miles starting and ending in Palma).
A golf and spa break is a true win-win because there’s something for everybody. Even for non-golf fans, Portugal’s top golfing resorts have a lot to offer; enjoy amazing views, world-class spa facilities and fine dining at its best.
