We seem to be zooming through the week at the moment, I am especially excited as I am off on holiday on Saturday so looking forward to some relaxation time and some early summer sunshine! Talking of sunshine, todays wedding is a perfect summer wedding, full of lovely bright sunshine and a beautiful outdoor ceremony. A fun-filled day with outdoor games, great food and some lovely scenery. Thanks to Dan from Dan Wooton Photography for the images.
Caroline and Andy were married on 22nd June 2014 at The Waterside Pavilion, Thornton Manor, Wirral. ‘We always wanted an outdoor wedding. We had in total 110 guests and it took 6 months to plan the wedding’
How they met
We met at a wedding 2 and half years ago.
How did you choose your photographer
Dan was highly recommended by friends. We loved his pictures
The Suit and Bridesmaids
The grooms suit was from ‘a suit that fits’ and bridesmaids had ‘dressy’ dresses.
Theme or Colour Scheme
Blue-as it suited the bridesmaids the most
Flowers
A family friend did our flowers, they were lovely.
Food
Canapés at drinks reception, salmon for main and then sticky toffee pudding.
Wedding Cake
A cake tower of tasty cheese
Entertainment
Guitar/cello and vocal group for the day and band for evening
Buy or DIY your Stationery
Bought on line and did some rsvp’s on line
Advice to other couples
Don’t worry about the small details. All your guests want is alcohol, a dance floor and some good music really! And to see you both happy.
