The website is full of amazing locations to hold your quirky wedding. From the intimate to the massive, on land to on sea, fun to breathtakingly beautiful, there really is a wedding venue to suite everyone’s tastes on this website.

When did you start your business
1st January this year the business was launched
Where are you based
Shoreham By Sea, just along the coast from Brighton.
Which areas do you cover
The UK, Ireland and The Channel Islands. Europe will be launching later this year, fingers crossed

What were you doing before you launched your business
Running Belles Events and Sussex Love Bug. I still run Belles Events but have recently sold Sussex Love Bug.
How would you describe your style
Fresh, quirky, unique and fun.
What is your biggest achievement so far to date
Probably starting, growing and selling a small business off the back of a redundancy from Amex. And having two happy healthy children.
Bell Inn
Guns Green House
What makes you different from your competitors
Truly Quirky Wedding Venues is the only site that promotes only wedding venues that have something unusual, out of the ordinary and, well, quirky to offer. We also offer the blog for free to all the venues on the site. I am a strong believer in brand protection and won’t falter in offering and promoting only really unique venues.
What do You enjoy most about your job
That I can work it around my family and that I get to hear about loads of fabulous places. I am planning on visiting a few this year so that’s exciting too.

What sort of couple do you attract
Both my businesses attract couples that want something different and that want their personalities reflected in their weddings. Feedback from exhibitors at the fairs and from the venues on the new site is that the couples that come their way through me are always really chilled and creative and know what they don’t want!
What would your ideal wedding be to work on
I would never get involved in a wedding, not my thing. I’m the middle ‘woman’
Can you give our readers some information on pricing
Sure, venues pay a very small fee to be on the site, in fact venue pages are under £100 per year. We also offer side bar adverts on every venue page for truly Quirky Wedding Suppliers, which are £15 per month.
What is your ideal way to spend a day off
Driving around in my campervan my husband and children, pitching up somewhere with a view, drinking a cuppa and then finding a cosy country pub before snugging up by a campfire. OR, shopping, on my own.
The Longhouse
The Folly
What can you never leave the house without
My iPhone, sunglasses and lipstick.
Who would be your 5 dream dinner guests dead or alive
Caitlin Moran, Jarvis Cocker, Lauren Laverne, Freddy Mercury, Princess Di.
What would you do if you won the lottery
I don’t do the lottery as I don’t think I would like to win that much money. I love what I already have.
If you were not running your business what would you be doing
I’d probably still be sat a desk in Amex doing not a lot for someone I don’t know, OR I’d train to become a midwife.
Any new products to come in the future
The inspiration for the site is that it will become European wide and will help loads of creative, gorgeous couples find their Truly Quirky Wedding Venue.

Those are some strange and wonderful venues there. I will say the maddest, craziest wedding I went to was at Aynhoe Park, it was like something like out of Alice in Wonderland.
