Boho’s Best Bits: W/C 9th March

Happy Sunday everyone and a MASSIVE  Happy Mother Day to all of you lovely mums out there. This is my first mothers day as a mum myself and I have to say I am a tad excited! A day of shopping with my 2 boys and a lovely dinner out are on the agenda. This time last year I was wobbling around with Dexter firmly planted in my tummy with swollen feet and ankles. Fast forward a year and I have the most adorable little baby boy I could every imagine and I just couldn’t be happier. Being a working mum has had its challenges, I admit I found it hard to adjust for the first couple of months but now I recon I have the best life ever. I get to work on my business 40-50 hours a week across 3 days and a lot of evenings and late nights and then the rest of the time I get to spend with my amazing son. Working these flexible hours I do means that I still get to go to all the baby groups and play centers that other mums on maternity leave do but I still get the wonderful balance of having those days at work. I love my work and my baby boy so I really do feel I have the best of both worlds! Admittedly a bit more time for myself and Nik would be good but you can’t have everything and the balance is nearly there! So a big high five for all those mums out there, working mums, stay at home mums, retired mums, grandmas and nana’s a like! We salute you, have a fab day!
