More Boho press for you this time from my favorite mag, Wedding Magazine. They Contacted me a month or so ago to ask if I would help out with a few wedding related questions for their advice section of the magazine. I was delighted to accept the challenge. Featured with 3 other planners, I answered 3 questions 1) on asking parents for money, 2) on wedding insurance and 3) on plus one etiquette.

Boho Press: Bride Magazine (Yorkshire) features one of my weddings

Just doing a round-up of the press that Boho has received over the last month and firstly I would like to show you Bride Magazine, which is new Yorkshire based magazine that featured one of my real weddings.

The wedding is of Jo nad Matt who got married on 29th April. The magazine contacted me to see if I had any weddings that I’d planned that I would like featured, I mentioned this one as it was the same date as the Royal wedding and they snapped it up. It was show by Jon from S6 Photogrpahy. unfortunately when it came to print I didn’t get a credit which I have to admit I was a bit upset about! But Hey Ho!!

Boho Press (Part 2) Wedding Magazine – Meet the new Generation

So if part 1 of my press day special wasn’t exciting enough for my little Boho self, then imagine how excited I was when I was told by the pink haired blogging queen that is www.rocknrollbride.com that she had managed to get me and my other blogging friends from the Big Fat Wedding Bloggers Photo Shoot a spread in this months Wedding Magazine.
Kat has a regular feature in the magazine and this month they wanted to feature not only her but us other bloggers as well……..I very nearly wet myself with excitement when she told me and I will be eternally grateful to her for getting me involved in the amazing photo shoot to begin with

So today’s Post is dedicated to the greatness that is Kat and her excellent Blog!…….and of course the amazing Wedding Magazine for embracing us bloggers! its great to see that we can all work together……..Here’s to a bright future!

And can i say how much I am loving that Title ‘ Meet the new Generation’ it’s the first time I’ve felt young in a long time…like Vogue when they announce the new generation of super models!! (but not like that at all!!)

Of course I couldn’t not mention the other lovely blogging ladies in this wonderful feature: Kat – The Punk Rock Bride Annabel – The Vintage Bride Charley – The Cute Bride Amma – The Modern Bride Alexis – The Bridesmaid……………you all look totally stunning! It was working (if you can call it that!) looking forward to catching up with you all again soon.

Boho Press (Part 1) Save the Date Magazine – 6 of their favourite wedding blogs

It’s awlays lovely to be featured in magazines and other blogs, so when the lovely ladies at Save the Date Magazine told me they were doing a feature in this months magazine about wedding bloggers and they weanted to include me, I was over the moon!

Boho in Photo Professional Magazine UK (along with my other blogging lovely’s)

As well as being in the local paper, I was told yesterday by a string of photographers that my ugly mug was plastered all over this months edition of Photo Pro Magazine. I have to admit I was a bit confused to begin with, but then I realised it was all due to my good friend Kat Williams of Rock N Roll Bridefame!! Kat writes a monthly column for the magazine and this month it was all about the Big Fat WEdding Bloggers shoot That we did in February with Lisa Devlin

I’m incredibly chuffed as my picture got a full page….yes a full A4 page of me in a national magazine!! who would have thought!!! So THANK YOU Kat…oh and happy Birthday as well, I hope your having a totally fabulous day!!

Yesterday I was lucky enough to be featured in the local paper, within the business section. The Star rang me up to ask me if I would mind being interviewed about the royal wedding and how it has affected my business. The interview was a bit of an odd one, and I felt at the time that my words were going to get completely mixed up and misquoted but the result wasn’t to bad in the end (apart from the over exposed photo that make me look supper orange)

The article talks about how the recession has hit the wedding industry and how couples now seem to be going for smaller more intimate options, bringing in DIY elements to their day. It also talks about elements of the royal wedding and how we have seen trends emerging from it and how I think it will change the industry after the wedding itself.

I was contacted by Wedding Ideas magazines to give them 3 things that every Bride was asking for in 2011 to be featured in their future editions. I talked about wedding wish trees, outdoor games and sweetie tables.

In this months edition (January Issue 90) in the Top Trends for 2011 feature on page 182 you can see a couple of my ideas in print:

Boho Featured on ‘We Adore Weddings’

It’s lovely to be featured on other people’s blogs, but even more lovely when it’s a total surprise! So when I saw my name being mentioned on twitter today I had to go and have a look at the link and there I was!
